Wicketed

Wicketed bags are held together by a wicket wire to facilitate the process of filling your product into the bags. They have a lip to hold the bag to the wicket wire

Zipper Reclosable

Reclosable Bags (also called Zipper Bags or Top Seal) are Closed by a Polyethylene Zipper to allow for multiple uses.

Gusseted

A side gusseted bag has a fold on each side that makes the bag have a rectangular shape when it opens to make them Fit inside a box and to provide a square bottom.

Seal

A Side Seal bag or a Bottom Seal bag are the most common Types of bags - they are also known as Flat Bags.

Rolls

Bags on a Roll also described as Perforated Tear Off (PTO) are bags that are wound on 3″ diameter core.

They come in 2 varieties: Open-End first or Sealed-End first. By default we produce bags Open-End first.

Tubing

Tubing is measured by its Width - it has no seals so it is not a bag - The length is the complete length of the roll. It can also be serrated for Tear Off at a determined length - these are called Sleeves

Sheeting

Sheeting is a one layer sheet of film with
No cuts on the full length of the roll.

It can come as small rolls or master rolls.
Also the material can have specific characteristics such as Heat Shrink or Freezer Grade

How to Measure For Liners and Covers

Reference Guide

Box Liner

Measure the Width (W), Length (L) and Height (H) of the BOX to be lined.

For the Opening of your BAG (Width): Add the box's Width (W) + Length (L), and Add at least 2” for a better fit

For the Length (L) of your BAG:Add the box's Height (H) + Width + at least 7" ( If Gusseted - The Gusset size will affect the Length required).

Drum Liner

Measure the length of the Circumference and the Height (H) of the DRUM to be lined.

For the Opening of your BAG (Width): Divide the Circumference by two (2) and Add at least 2” for a better fit

For the Length (L) of your BAG:Add the drum's Height (H) + 50% of the Width + at least 7"

Pallet / Rack Covers

Measure the Width (W), Length (L) and Height (H) of the BOX to be lined.

For the Opening of your BAG (Width): Add the box's Width (W) + Length (L), and Add at least 2” for a better fit

For the Length (L) of your BAG:Add the box's Height (H) + Width + at least 7" ( If Gusseted - The Gusset size will affect the Length required).
